Community Update Regarding Hillside South of the Library
For those who have seen the hillside south of the county Library with what looks like a tarp cover, please take note that the District had a geotechnical company do some boring to determine if there were any seismic issues that could impact the possibility of pursuing the area for future development. The ground has been restored and the cover is to protect against erosion.
The report on this work will be coming back to the board in September. Please note that no decisions have been made to pursue the development of a new building beyond performing the seismic tests.
