Meeting to Address Traffic Issues Thursday, September 20
KPPCSD directors Chris Deppe and Eileen Nottoli will host a community traffic meeting Thursday, September 20, from 7-10pm, at the Community Center. Attending will be Contra Costa County’s senior traffic engineer, Monish Sen; interim Chief of Police Rickey Hull; and possibly a representative from County Supervisor John Gioia’s office.
Board members are often asked about traffic issues, and sometimes it’s not clear who or what agency is responsible for a particular problem. This is a chance to voice your concerns and ideas about traffic, as well as get a better understanding of which roles the various agencies play in traffic-calming efforts.
This is not a KPPCSD board meeting and will be fairly informal. All members of the public are welcome. Questions and comments are encouraged, as are good ideas. Please come and talk about traffic!
