he California Residential Mitigation Program (CRMP) offers earthquake retrofit grants to qualified California homeowners in high-risk areas with vulnerable types of houses. CRMP has two retrofit grant programs: Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) and Earthquake Soft-Story (ESS). These programs offer grants to homeowners to complete a residential seismic retrofit.
